Third Faculty of Medicine

The Third Faculty of Medicine in Prague offers a wide range of health-related degrees, such as Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Nursing and, of course, MEDICINE.

In the academic year 1996/1997 the faculty’s medical degree programme underwent a radical reform, bringing it closer to those taught in European and American universities. The degree now focuses on the principles of integrated learning, problem-oriented instruction and early contact with patients.

Students assess the lectures and processes on a regular basis, and are therefore given the opportunity to participate in the development and evolution of the faculty.

The basic philosophy of the Third Faculty of Medicine is to strengthen and improve the relationship between teachers and students.
