About Szczecin
Szczecin is the historic capital of West Pomerania and has about 410,000 inhabitants. The city is located along the Oder River, south of Lake Szczecin. The city is located 12 kilometers from the German-Polish border and 60 kilometers from the Baltic Sea. Paying only 35 €-ticket by bus or train, you will be able to travel to the German capital on weekends, which is only 150 kilometers away, and to enjoy this city whenever you want, full of history and endless cultural, social and leisure possibilities. Furthermore, thanks to its good flight connections to different Spanish cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Alicante, you can fly to Spain whenever you want. The city also has an extensive train network and bus links that let you move around Szczecin for a very reasonable price (30 cents approx.)
Szczecin is also the national center for science and education. With its several private and public universities, the University of Szczecin is an attractive city for both adults and the youth.
